Overview of Livigno, Italy:

Livigno is skiing at its very best, offering a long two-sided ski area which is Livigno Piste Mapclearly divided on both sides of the charming little hamlet. The side which is by the Swiss section of the Alps (closest to The Bernina Range) provides the most challenging and greatest area for skiing.

If you are a beginner, then it would be best to catch the number 23 to 30 lifts where those that are testing the “waters” would soon be in a position to gain enough confidence, often under the careful and watchful eye or instructors at the numerous ski schools.
